Markets and Etsy Adventures: A few things I’ve learned along the way

Bonfire night has been and gone, which means that we are now full on into the season of makers markets, craft fairs, art shows and selling on Etsy. This is my sixth year of selling my art work at events and online and every year I learn something new that I wish I had known back when I started out.

Earlier this year I was interviewed by the lovely Katie McGeary from Hot Tap Media for the Cultural Enterpise Office. I talked about my experiences selling on both Etsy and at markets and shared a few wee tips too. This is what I had to say. I hope you find them useful… even if it is to remind you to bring food with you to a market so you don’t starve/ eat all the cakes from the nearby cupcake stand!

The Cultural Enterprise Office You Tube page has lots more brilliant interviews on it from other Scottish artists and makers, including the inspiring creatives Kirsty and Pete Thomas from Tom Pigeon.

Please do pop over and visit my Etsy shop for a bit of a nosey and if you are interested in what markets I have coming up you check them out on my events page.

Wishing you a brilliant Christmas full of smiles and making others smile too with your amazing creations.
