Anyone else been finding it hella tricky to focus recently? I thought I was until I found a project that’s kept me fully engrossed for the last few days! I’ve been meaning to make some models of my wee houses for ages, and now was a great time to practice my modelling skills. Hope you like my wee house as much as I did creating it! Might go order more clay... 😉

Has anyone else spotted that #DiscoveryWalkDundee is on the signs around Dundee city centre? @lupinlurcher and I were pretty stoked to see it being given a wee shoutout when we were out for a wander in the sunshine yesterday. . . If you’ve not discovered the walk for yourself yet, it’s at the top corner of #SlessorGardens nearest @vadundee. I’m still really proud to have been asked to design the 15 bronze plaques that shout about and celebrate some really kick ass Dundee folk who have made contributions that went on to change the world. . . This wooden house didn’t quite make it to the big #RoxMural as it was just a bit too little in the end. But rather than it sit blank and unloved I decided to paint it during our open studios yesterday. It’s a really nice reminder of the mural in the studio. Now where to put it.... 😊💚🌿 . . Today’s the day!! We unveiled my giant wooden mural that was created for Roxburghe House with inspiration taken from patients, staff and beautiful surroundings, including Balgay Park, Dundee. . . Massive thanks to Northwood Charitable Trust for supporting this project and to everyone at Roxburghe House @nhstayside Tayside for being just amazing to work with and be around (with particular shout to Fiona Barnett who’s passing comment and enthusiasm turned into a mega project and Alison Sellers for co-ordinating all the Rox House peeps and for so much coffee! . . To Iain Byrne and his team from #Signify for the incredible lighting - you gotta see this at night (I’ll share it soon), The Spray Factory Ltd for lacquering and painting the wall, @thealteredstatelasercutting for cutting out all the flowers. @kris_miller_ (c/o DC Thomson) for piccies today. . . My wee sheds are actually bathing boxes! Have you ever heard of bathing boxes before? I hadn’t. I was totally taken by these strange but adorable little sheds on wheels on the beach on the old glass plates in the Archive Collections at @dundeeuni that I couldn’t resist making my own versions for our exhibition. The wheels though, they were are bit of a challenge! 😅 . . Been making some wee paper ‘sheds’ for the latest exhibition with @dundeeuni archives ’River Deep, Mountain High’, which opened last night in the Lamb Gallery in the Tower Building.
